What equipment, besides a printer, does a proper office need?

When mentioning an office, most of us picture office furniture and a work desk with a computer, monitor, and keyboard, or a laptop with a mouse. Many would perhaps also mention the printer and various small items that, of course, must not be missing from a work desk. The fact is that technology drives the world today, so when furnishing an office, we will certainly appreciate devices that make our work easier or more productive more than the services of an architect or interior designer.

Of course, we do not want to underestimate the office layout and the selection of suitable furniture. Furniture, and ultimately the office desk itself, is fundamentally important because it must provide us with enough space to comfortably place the computer and control devices, namely the keyboard and mouse.

Cabinets and an office chair that enables dynamic sitting, thereby mitigating the negative effects of prolonged sitting on health, should not go unnoticed either. The main role in a modern and well-equipped office, however, is played primarily by technology, or rather the equipment, which we will discuss in the following lines.

1. Wireless docking station

This device enables easy, fast, and secure wireless connection of laptops to a network or to other peripherals. With a wireless docking station, you kill three birds with one stone. And it will not just be the aforementioned uncomplicated connection of the laptop to the network, monitor, keyboard, mouse, or other office devices.

In the office, many devices use the USB port, so some devices are often disconnected so that those currently needed can be connected. Constantly connecting and disconnecting is counterproductive and will eventually get on everyone's nerves. Fast, and above all higher connectivity will certainly come in handy. You will also appreciate the security, because the data you will work with is protected by encryption and effective authentication protocols. It is certainly also worth mentioning the simplification of access to presentation equipment in meeting rooms, especially projectors. And now we will give the floor to the projectors.

2. Projector

A projector is an excellent and irreplaceable assistant for smaller and small companies that want to provide their employees with completely accurate and undistorted visual information during meetings or conferences. With projectors, you can be sure that in meetings or training sessions you will captivate all your employees or colleagues with the precise visual aspect of your presentation. The options are almost unlimited, so you can choose a projector from the portfolio of renowned brands that will best suit your needs.

Among them, we can mention companies such as HP, Epson, or Canon. You certainly know the products of these manufacturers well and use them in your office. Whether it is printers or toners and ink cartridges, the products of these respected brands are characterized by high quality and reliability. Of course, this will be no different when it comes to projectors.

3. External monitor

Laptops are an integral part of the corporate environment. They offer flexibility that allows you to work both in the office and on the go. But in the office, you can take efficiency to a new level, and thanks to an external monitor, you can get the most out of working on a laptop. It's nothing complicated. When you connect your laptop to a high-resolution monitor, you get additional screen space where you can open more applications. A simple solution that, however, will ultimately contribute significantly to greater work efficiency.

4. Hybrid devices

We have already mentioned laptops several times today. Nevertheless, we will draw your attention to hybrid laptops which, in addition to classic functions, feature a touchscreen display. These devices can be a perfect choice not only for a traditional office, but especially for working from home, i.e. for the so-called "Home office" There are several reasons for this.

The advantages of hybrid laptops are reliability, speed, and low weight, but their strongest asset is above all the versatility of their use. Hybrid laptops have a flexible body that can be adjusted in various ways. While some models form a single unit, you can rotate the keyboard and touchscreen relative to each other, while other laptops go even further and offer a detachable display with a special stand. Some models include a stylus pen for graphic work.

Hybrid laptops can be used for work during the day and as a tablet in the evening for playing games or watching movies.

It is therefore no surprise that these devices are replacing tablets (with the exception of graphics tablets) and are increasingly becoming part of home office equipment.
